My OH had the day off work today so we decided to treat ourself to a drive through the Adelaide Hills. First we stopped for chocolate and cheese tasting at Melba’s Chocolate Factory in Woodside. The drive was windy, but the scenery was gorgeous. It’s hard to believe everything I saw on that drive – cows, kangaroos, emus, rusty tin shearing sheds and beautiful rocky cliff faces – are all less than an hour’s drive from my home. For lunch I enjoyed this beautiful meal at the German Arms in Hahndorf. The Weisswurst was fantastic but although I did my best, I sadly could not clear the plate!
